Welcome to up2cloud.one! I’m tomcatprime, a systems engineer and cloud specialist based in Bucharest, Romania. My work focuses on designing, automating, and managing IT environments that help organizations operate securely and efficiently in the cloud.

What I Do

• Cloud & Infrastructure: I manage solutions using Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, ensuring seamless integration and robust security for modern workplaces.
• Automation: I leverage PowerShell and Python to automate device management, user provisioning, compliance checks, and operational workflows, reducing manual effort and increasing reliability.
• Endpoint & Identity Management: My daily work involves Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and various tools for device security, compliance, and user experience optimization.
• Incident Response: I handle technical support and troubleshooting at L2/L3 levels, collaborating with distributed teams to resolve incidents and maintain high service availability.
• DevOps & CI/CD: In my home lab, I build and maintain infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, orchestrate deployments with Docker and Kubernetes, and streamline software delivery using CI/CD pipelines. This hands-on experience allows me to experiment with new tools and best practices, continuously improving my skills and understanding of modern DevOps workflows.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: I create technical guides and playbooks to enhance support processes and enable self-service solutions.
